Why are you especially thankful this year?
Thanksgiving, by far, is one of our favorite times of the year. We are continuously thankful for our many blessings, but this time of year we appreciate the opportunity to slow down and really focus on those blessings and time with our loved ones.
One of our greatest blessings has been the National Society of Health Coaches. We started with only an idea over a decade ago and today we are able to see the results of that idea and how it has improved so many patient-provider relationships and the health of so many patients. We are so thankful for all of the healthcare professionals who have turned to the NSHC to help them learn how to guide their patients and clients to more meaningful health behavior change in their lives.
Over the years, our mere idea has transformed into the Health Coach certification program you see today. Along the way we have worked diligently to improve the program, update it based on changes in the industry and with technology, and to make it as effective as possible. Another thing we are constantly thankful for is the wonderful feedback we receive, especially the feedback, which allows us to further improve our teaching/learning methods and increase our member engagement. This feedback from healthcare professionals is invaluable to us.
One more blessing we are especially thankful for is being able to meet, teach, and learn from so many new people. Each encounter with each new person is a new opportunity for us to either help, or learn, or both! This blog is just one more way for us to meet and interact with new people across the world; so another blessing for us here at NSHC is YOU! Thank you for taking time out of your day to read our blog. We appreciate you each and every day and we hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving.
Psalm 106:1 “Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
